Our History
SELEMATIC THROUGH TIME
1978
The company is established by Vito Amabile and Angelo Carimando. This is when packing systems for dry pasta packages start to be designed and manufactured.
1981
After achieving success, the company acquire the legal form of collective business and buy the land on which their own first industrial plant is built.
1991
Inauguration of the new industrial plant, made of 2,000 square metres of production space and 600 square metres of office space.
1999
Selematic becomes a joint-stock company, as a result of the significant increase in revenue, the number of foreign countries where the customers are located and the types of produced equipment.
2001
Using only their own resources, Selematic SpA buy a new industrial plant, the current production site, which covers an area of approximately 58,000 square meters.
2003
Selematic SpA move to the new industrial plant. The increase in revenue, number of served foreign countries and types of produced systems continues.
2011
Selematic SpA start to expand their own industrial plant by building a new warehouse of 2,500 square metres.
2017
The social structure of Selematic SpA changes: the family of the founding partner Vito Amabile is joined by Vertis SGR, a private equity fund. They start to strengthen the company’s structure by hiring new managers.
